The conference fee covers a 3-day ticket, which is valid on all public transport services in the core zone of Vienna. Airport transfers are not included.
The address of the Department of Musicology is Garnisongasse 15, 1090, Vienna. It is located in Court 9 at the entrance 9.1. If you stay at one of the recommended accommodations, the Department will only be a short walk away. There are also many underground and tram stations nearby: Rathaus and Schottentor (both violet line U2) and Landesgerichtshof (trams 43 and 44) as well as Schwarzspanierstraße (trams 37, 38, 40, 41 and 42).
The main building of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, where the conference opening and the keynote speech will take place, is at Dr. Ignaz Seipel-Platz 2, 1010, Vienna. The closest station is Stubentor (orange line U3 and tram 2).
The conference will provide a bus transfer to get to the Heuriger s'Pfiff located near the vineyards in the 19th district of Vienna. If you are arriving separately, please use one of the public transport apps to find the best route.
