Institutional membership plays a vital role in sustaining MEI’s mission and activities, which includes the annual Music Encoding Conference, and bursary awards that support student and emerging scholars’ attendance. Membership contributions will be used to cover costs associated with conference related activities and expenditures at the discretion of the MEI Board and MEC organizers. There are three institutional member levels with increased benefits:
Regular Member: €500
- Logos of sponsoring organizations will appear on publications by the MEI Board (e.g. conference proceedings, guidelines) and on a sponsors page on the MEI website
- Sponsor materials (such as stickers, handouts, pencils, etc.) can be provided to conference organizers for inclusion with conference packets provided to attendees
Patron Member: €2,000
- Logos of sponsoring organizations will appear on publications by the MEI Board(e.g. conference proceedings, guidelines), on the MEI website homepage, and on a sponsors page on the MEI website
- Sponsor materials (such as stickers, handouts, pencils, etc.) can be provided to conference organizers for inclusion with conference registration packets provided to attendees
- Conference coffee break sponsorship
- Conference bursary sponsorship
Sustaining Member: €5,000 or more
- Logos of sponsoring organizations will appear on publications by the MEI Board (e.g. conference proceedings, guidelines), have prominent placement in the footer of each page on the MEI website, and appear on a page listing all sponsors
- Sponsor materials (such as stickers, handouts, pencils, etc.) can be provided to conference organizers for inclusion with conference registration packets provided to attendees
- Conference coffee break sponsorship
- Conference bursary sponsorship
- Conference exhibitor (present your company, project, or institution at a dedicated accessible location at the conference venue)
- will be subject to review by MEI Board and MEC organizers
